Theme Giant Bulb – Dirk goes crazy
This Giant Tulip bulb was painted on behalf of Dirk van den Broek Supermarkts. With the slogan “Dirk goes crazy and adopts a giant bulb” they organized a design competition in October 2020. Mariet Molenaar from Zaandam has won this competition with her design. Artist Lisette Hogewoning painted the Giant Tulip Bulb inspired by this design.
Artist – Lisette Hogewoning
Lisette Hogewoning paints, draws and makes paper-art portraits. She was educated at the Wackers Academy in Amsterdam. Lisette has won many (incentive) awards and in 2019 one of her paper-art paintings had the honor to be exhibited in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
