Theme Giant Bulb – Carré
On the edge of the dunes, in Bloemendaal, is one of the largest and most special national monuments in our country; the Meerenberg psychiatric hospital in Bloemendaalse Park Brederode, dating from 1848. The building has an authentic facade, a characteristic corridor structure and a characteristic chimney and has now been transformed into the Carré van Bloemendaal: city villas, apartments, and a chapel. On this Giant Tulip Bulb, you can see the building with a pond surrounded by many alliums and poppies.
