Theme Giant bulb – Around the pond (Keukenhof)

For years, several white items contrast with the abundance of beautiful blossoms in Flower gardens Keukenhof in the springtime.

It is because of this contrast they stand out and draw the attention they require. To Annelies, this was the inspiration she wanted to translate onto her Tulip bulb “Around the Pond”.

Artist – Annelies Witjens

Annelies Witjens (Lisse) graduated in 1993 at the Royal art academy in the Hague. Since then she works as an artist, with expositions in the Netherlands and abroad, works as an art teacher on primary and secondary schools.
